The Golden Knights are defeated by the Edmonton Oilers Tying the Series

The Golden Knights have been a highly competitive team since joining the NHL as an expansion team in the 2017-2018 season. In their first season, they finished with a record of 51-24-7 and advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they ultimately lost to the Washington Capitals.

In the following seasons, the Golden Knights continued to be a top team in the Western Conference, qualifying for the playoffs each year. In the 2021-2022 season, they finished with a record of 42-30-10 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs before being eliminated by the Colorado Avalanche.

The Vegas Golden Knights are currently in the second round of the NHL playoffs, where they are facing the Edmonton Oilers. The Golden Knights are the underdogs in the series, but they have a chance to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals for the second time in their history.

The Golden Knights had a successful regular season, finishing with a record of 49-29-6. They were the third seed in the Pacific Division and qualified for the playoffs as a wild card.

The Golden Knights have been inconsistent in the playoffs. They won their first-round series against the Los Angeles Kings in six games, but they lost their first two games of their second-round series against the Edmonton Oilers.

The Golden Knights need to find a way to get their offense going if they want to advance to the Stanley Cup Finals. They have scored just three goals in their first two games against the Oilers.

The Golden Knights are also dealing with some injuries. Mark Stone was out for what was thought to be the rest of the playoffs with a back injury. Thankfully, Stone was able to recover and return to the ice. Max Pacioretty is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

The Golden Knights have a chance to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, but they will need to play their best hockey if they want to advance.
