The Flamingo Las Vegas is set to unveil its newly renovated GO Pool on May 15, 2025, following a series of delays that pushed back the original opening date from mid-March. This $20 million transformation aims to redefine the poolside experience on the Strip, blending the resort’s iconic mid-century modern aesthetic with contemporary luxury.
A New Era for the GO Pool
The revamped GO Pool spans 1.5 acres and introduces five distinct pool areas tailored exclusively for guests aged 21 and over. Key features include a 30-seat swim-up bar, 33 VIP cabanas, and a striking 50-foot-wide “rain curtain” waterfall that cascades into the main pool. Elevated above the waterfall, a DJ booth will host daily performances, enhancing the vibrant atmosphere. The design incorporates playful pastels and earthy tones, complemented by lush landscaping with 55 tall palm trees and 35 other tree species relocated from the original pool area .
Addressing Delays and Enhancing Experiences
Initially slated to open in March, the GO Pool’s debut was postponed to April 11 before being rescheduled to May 15. While Caesars Entertainment has not specified the reasons for the delays, reports suggest that the overhaul addressed significant water leakage issues, necessitating a comprehensive rebuild. This reconstruction not only resolves maintenance concerns but also introduces modern amenities designed to elevate the guest experience .
Anticipation Builds
Despite the setbacks, anticipation for the GO Pool’s reopening remains high. The Flamingo’s pool has long been a staple of Las Vegas’s vibrant pool scene, and the enhancements promise to offer guests an unparalleled blend of relaxation and entertainment. As the May 15 opening approaches, visitors can look forward to experiencing the next chapter in the Flamingo’s storied history.
For those planning a visit, reservations for daybeds and cabanas are now available, ensuring guests can secure their spot in what is poised to be one of Las Vegas’s premier pool destinations this summer.
